Hampton Inn Rochester-Webster

Well located by the highway Stayed here with a group of 20 other bicyclists during the summer of 2025. Best part of this experience is the staff : whole team is always attentive and helpful The building is a little tired and shows its age, but rooms are clean and well kept Breakfast is your typical Hampton experience, includes hot choices. there’s plenty of free parking but note that three is little to no shade in the parking lot Its fitness center is well kept and includes weights, treadmills, and a peloton bike Indoor pool is available at night so you can relax after a day of activity I would stay here again in the future when visiting the area

Location accessible to lots of restaurants and fast food spots. I liked that. The staff were wonderful and very helpful even though it was end of their shift. They offered a late check since we got in at midnight. Thanks 😊 🫂

The only thing that needs to have maintenance look into is that bench in the tub (214) when its fastened to the wall and get wet. The fasteners lets go. I got hit by that falling bench twice. If it was a kid they could get hurt cause that bench is heavy. Look into that please.

Typical Hampton Hotel offering, if you have stayed at a Hampton before and found it OK, then this will be the same. Only slight problem with this one was that we had an issue with the hot water, this might have just been our room though.

Travelling for work requires Internet access to communicate with my company, customers and prospects. The internet quality was so poor that I could not send a small attachment or download a spreadsheet via email. I asked the front desk for a room closer to the router but none were available. The person at the front desk tried her best by giving me another internet access that was supposed to be better. It didn't work. at less than 3 mbps rate, that is about as low as dial up was 20 years ago. Totally not acceptable! I will never stay at that hotel ever again. there are (2) other hotels right on that road that I will choose for next years event. I even convinced the host for the event to remove Hampton from their suggested local hotel list for next year. Plus, there wasn't even a television remote in my room. Come on Hilton/Hampton. You have got to do better...
