Grand Velas Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Our concierge, Hector, was amazing. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and the service was impeccable. Zen Class was the perfect blend of nature and relaxation. Will absolutely go back.

Gracias Grand Velas for making this trip relaxing, enjoyable, and truly memorable. My husband and I visited for a long weekend (but not quite long enough!) for my 40th birthday. We had private transportation to and from the resort which made traveling from the US seamless and stressful-free. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed with the beauty of this resort. Set in a tropical jungle oasis right along the beach of Riviera Maya, we took in the views of the lush green landscapes and bright purple flowers that lined the verandas. We also had the opportunity to see many of the local wildlife. After arriving in the lobby, we were introduced to our personal concierge Diana Lopez, who took great care of all our needs from check-in to check-out. By messaging through WhatsApp, she was able to confirm our dinner reservations and inform us of various activities within the resort each day we were there. We spent our mornings on the beach, afternoons by the Grand Class pool, and evenings in the various restaurants this resort has to offer. Each meal was memorable in its own way. We had the pleasure of dining at Frida (shout out to Ariel who not only made amazing food and drink recommendations but was also very entertaining), Chaka, Cocina de Autor (a Michelin star restaurant), and Lucca. The staff at each location truly made you feel like you were their top priority and would go above and beyond to provide you with an enjoyable experience. We were sad to be leaving but know that if we decide to travel to this area again, I will not hesitate to return to Grand Velas and will be recommending this resort to all of our family and friends. The best stay we've had! The team was courteous friendly and accommodating, the resort was beautiful and the rooms clean and luxurious, there were multiple restaurants to choose from! Pur concierge Leonardo and Dariana were so wonderful and helped us anytime we needed something. The Spa was fabulous and the massage therapists were terrific! I can go on and on but I know for sure we will definitely be returning! Thank you all

My husband and I (over 65) recently vacationed at the Grand Velas Riviera Maya Resort. It was our third time staying at the resort. We had an amazing visit. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in the Zen section which is a more secluded area with a beautiful pool area. The resort offers so many delicious food options! We loved the breakfasts at Azur and ceviche at the pool. Really, the top level food is one of the reasons we love this resort so much! (Including a Michelin star restaurant) Another reason is the wonderful resort staff. They are all so welcoming and friendly. It is obvious they truly care about the guests. One person, in particular, was our personal concierge, Iza. From the moment we arrived she took such great care of us! We felt like she was part of our family. Iza went above and beyond, helping us with dinner reservations, car rental and daily activities. Anything we needed. We will definitely request her when we return and already asked her if she could be the concierge for our daughter and her future husband when they stay later this year. We will be back with our extended family! A great resort for all ages!

The level of customer service can’t be topped! Ricardo was a gem! The atmosphere is peaceful and the whole resort is very clean and smells good.

This all inclusive, beach front resort is beautiful!!! There are eight restaurants ranging from casual to haute cuisine and the food is excellent.at all. There is also beach service for drinks and lunch, served by a highly attentive beach staff. As for the resort staff, they are friendly and can’t do enough for you. Every guest is assigned a concierge who takes care of every detail of your visit. They make your dinner reservations, text the resorts daily activities and answer your every question and needs. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. We plan to make the Grand Velas an annual vacation destination. We highly recommend it. Definitely a 5 Star Resort!

We recently stayed at Grand Velas Riviera Maya and overall had a pleasant experience, but it didn’t quite live up to the five-star reputation for us. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well maintained, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the beach area is lovely. The food quality was generally good. However, for the price point, we expected a higher level of consistency in service. Some staff members were wonderful and attentive, while others seemed less engaged. Service at restaurants and around the pool could be very slow at times. There were also small details that didn’t feel as polished as you would expect from a luxury resort. Overall, it’s a nice resort in a stunning location, but it didn’t quite deliver the seamless luxury experience we were hoping for

We spent 4 nights at Grand Velas in November 2025. The setting, food, people, and accommodations couldn't have been better. It exceeded our already lofty expectations. A special shout out to Daniel, Sophia, Mario, Luis Alberto, Felix, Adan, and Maria for making it such a memorable trip. We'll be back!

Second visit to grand Velas and it did not disappoint! 5 star service all around. Pool service at grand class was exceptional with Domingo, Jorge, Daniel and Donato. Food was very good too.

We started our vacation at a different resort, but we weren’t happy with the food or service, so we decided to switch to Grand Velas for the last three nights — and we are so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, everything changed. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, the food was exceptional, and the staff truly made the experience unforgettable. There were simply too many team members to name who went above and beyond to make our stay special. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable — we can’t wait to come back.
