Excellent location, well organised for safari and day tours.

Be aware - Via Booking.com the hotel is supposed to take one nights prepayment 3 days prior to arrival. The hotel took our full stay over a week prior and took the payment twice. So I am not sure you can trust what it stipulates on Booking.com payment terms. It’s been almost 2 weeks, our stay is done and we are still battling to get the money back, thousands. No apology or acknowledgment during our stay for the stuff up. A simple reverse charge and apology upon our arrival would have sorted the situation. The hotel caters for large tour groups and is inundated at meal times. It’s a good 3 star hotel level with a 5 star price tag. Superb location and some wonderful front counter staff.

Location at the river, beautiful sunset view, very friendly and committed staff, very comfortable bed, new furniture, green gardens with animals (bushbuck, warthog, monkeys, water monitor lizard)

Hotel is frequented by travel groups as well as „day trippers“ from Vic Falls for river cruise and game drive - so it can be quite busy at meal times Moving chairs from other rooms can be heard quite loudly - consider putting felt below the chairs to avoid noise

A beautiful place on the River, lovely rooms, Very friendly and happy staff. We enjoyed the Game Drive and River Cruise. A little disappointed that we didn`t see more game (but that`s the luck of the draw). Breakfast.. great spread ... (better if one managed to miss the large Groups.) Food in the Bar upstairs... something for everyone .. and very tasty. Weather was also perfect ... a wonderful few days at Cresta Mowana! (with a great Massage at the Spa, to top it off.

The view was amazing, and the property offered many activities to keep us well entertained.

The vegetarian menu was extremely limited, so this could be improved.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Staff were generally friendly. We were on a DB&B basis. The food was not good! Mass produced to serve the group tours, not a hotel (when we were there) for couples. It’s some of the worse food we’ve had for a very long time. If you’re looking for a big hotel with ok rooms and amazing views over the river then it’s for you.

Location on river. Views of river from rooms. Wildlife on property. Game drives good.

Food. Many dishes cold and over cooked. A lot of battered foods.

Absolutely beautiful. The cleanliness, the staff and the views. The buffet at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was amazing

The basin & bathtub stopper was not working and I travelled with 2 small children. Needed to use the bathtub

Wij stayed here near the end of our road trip through Southern Africa. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, when you enter you are greeted by the beautiful baobab tree. Staff are friendly, but in arrival there was quite a bit of confusion about the times of the pre booked activities. But eventually that was all sorted out. The location is stunning on the banks of the Chobe river and very close to the National park for safaris. The wifi is good and works through the whole resort. Room is beautiful with a big bed, great bath and shower in the bathroom and great views over the river. The boat trip that the hotel offers is also beautiful and well worth it. When you are here you truly get a taste of Africa. The food in the restaurant is very good too. We had the breakfast and dinner buffets. Compared to other hotels this one is quite a bit more expensive. But that doesn’t surprise me because of the quality of the hotel. I can definitely recommend staying here!

We were a senior tour group from Canada 🇨🇦, one of our highlights was staying at this resort. 3 weeks in South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. We were greeted with a drink and a warm face cloth by the service manager who was on her game at all times, they have a lovely spa that’s a must after a long safari in the bush (ask for Oji she’s fantastic). Located on the banks of the Chobe river with sunsets like no other, very close to Chobe National Park which is a bonus. We went on a late afternoon river safari and three day trips by jeep, one early morning, an all day, late afternoon drive. The guides were amazing they drove right up in the bush, we were so close to the animals, it was unbelievable. We started putting a hand or head in the corner of the pictures so you could see that we were right there and not some super zoomed in camera lol. I would definitely come back to Botswana and stay here again and again. Definitely our highlight of the trip. Thank you, Thank you ❤️
