Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa

Customer service is 10/10 Staff go over and beyond to help you,they are friendly and just amazing people. Shout out to German at reception and Mme Sotlang at the food section. Location is amazing It's very clean and very pleasing to the eye. The place is amazing,just breathtaking 👌👌

The buffet could do with a bit of variety at dinner,for example ,some pizzas,chips and pasta. The wifi can be a hit and miss at times. Overall this didn't ruin anything, just little improvements needed.

Excellent experience all around! Boat cruise, food and all staff were excellent. Malebogo Sechele was awesome, very friendly and always helpful.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the beautiful hotel with the most lovely setting on the river. We went for the early morning game drive in the Chobe park, a message in the spa and a afternoon river cruise. The river cruise was for sure the highlight of our trip on a awesome double decker boat, we enjoyed cooldrinks and snacks included and saw so many animals and the most incredible sunset ever!

My wife & I stayed at Cresta Mowana, Kasane Region, Botswana in mid July 2025, for 2 nights. It was a great stay with excellent boat & Jeep safaris. The lodge is on the banks of the Chobe River and all rooms are River View. The Property is in a vast area with plenty of interesting view sit outs and good bars & restaurants. The food is good and more than enough. The sunsets, in the lodge, were to die for. The safaris were amazing esp the river safari. Got to see good sunrises & sunsets in the Chobe Park too. While we could not see a Lion (with mane), the other shots were terrific. The double beds are a little small for comfort, but overall good God bless!!

Location, friendly staff, general facilities

The rooms are really tired. TV had no volume on most channels. Bathroom fan screamed when on which made it difficult to put the light on particularly when someone else was asleep. It was difficult for the kitchen staff to keep up with replenishing food trays that were empty Without doubt the worst aspect of our stay and the lead up to it was the shocking level of communication through Booking.com. I asked multiple times for an activity list to be sent through to me. I was then told I had to email my request and it couldn’t be sent over WhatsApp or booking.com. Even when emailing, no reply received. I have again tried to contact the property to ask if an item of clothing has been found and have received no reply. I have however had three messages from booking.com, and via email, asking me to rate the property. Compared to what other accommodation and facilities are available in Kasane, this resort offers poor value for money

Beautiful property situated on the river. Rooms were lovely, pools were beautiful

The food even though a huge selection was not the best quality , meat was tough , obviously just catering to fill the huge groups they have

It was a great lodge. I particularly liked that fact that the meals were buffet style. The rooms were excellent with wonderful views out over the river. We were lucky to spot a Bushbuck and a water monitor. The rooms were kept clean and tidy.
