Holiday Inn Express & Suites Knoxville-Farragut by IHG

Location was perfect for our purpose. Breakfast was good and a variety was offered.

Lady that checked us in didnt smile or make some eye contact

First of all I want to say that my experience with Ms. Fowler was professional and excellent. However, the front desk person during the day was not. Ms Fowler had noted I would be checking in early. I understand rooms may not have been open at the time I first arrived, but 2.5 hours later the lot was pretty empty and I was met with contempt again when even trying to check my bags before going to the game. After the game, Ms Fowler looked puzzled when I told her I was checking in and stated she thought I was checking in earlier. I told her that it didn’t happen and proceeded to tell her our experience. She was very apologetic and said she hoped they could make it up to me. The room I was in #110 must be near a pump or some sort of equipment and that was annoying, but overall the location is very convenient and it was a clean property.

What I liked most about the property was the cleanliness. That is by far the most important thing in staying at a hotel with hundreds of other guests.

I honestly cannot think of anything that was wrong.

Massive room with two king-sized beds. Not fancy, but clean and very comfortable. Convenient to I-40.

The entire experience from checking in to checking out was wonderful. All staff were very friendly, the room was perfectly clean and spacious, the pool was well taken care of and clean. The breakfast area was great with lots of options and very clean. There was a staff member watching over the breakfast area that was friendly and had everything very well stocked. Next time we come through, there’s no doubt that we will pick this hotel out of all the others around it.
