Keys were not working so if I needed to walk out I had to leave the door open because the keys didn’t work at all or the key pass

The staff helped with changing rooms.

The first room I was in was on the second floor facing the parking lot. The flood lights blasted my room with light, even around the “black out” curtains. The room wasn’t very clean, especially the bathroom. I did change to the 4th floor and it was better. Breakfast was okay but, even though I ate well within the hours, there was no fruit for the yogurt. When I asked the staff if there was more (the container was empty), they just shrugged.

Breakfast yogurt bar was amazing! Everything was perfect during my stay.

I booked this room because it was very conveniently located to where I needed to be, and the reviews looked positive. I was very disappointed for several reasons. The glasses in the room were obviously dirty and you could see lip marks and fingerprints on them. The ice machine was not making ice, and when I tried to use the phone to call the front desk I found that it did not work either and the lights on it flashed nonstop. I had to call the front desk from my cell phone to request ice and clean glasses, and was told to come to the front desk to get them. When I got there the ice had been put into a plastic grocery sack, which there is no telling what had previously been in the grocery sack or how unsanitary it could have been. Once I got back to my room and locked the door I found that the metal safety latch was not functional. The shower area was dirty and stained. The walls are thin and noisy as people come and go from their rooms. Also, one of the two elevators was out of order and I was told “if it opens, just push a different floor and send it on its way”. It’s a good thing the breakfast was complimentary with the room because it was terrible. I have never tried such horrible egg omelet like things. I was there an hour before breakfast was to close and they were not replenishing it. The oatmeal was gone, the fruit was gone. I ended up having a slice of toast with jelly (and it’s not individually packaged jelly, but jars to share with all the other guest). This hotel was definitely not worth the $160 I payed for the night. Upon checking out I kindly told the front desk attendant of the things that needed repairs in the room and gave her a list. Her only response was asking if I told anyone. Uumm, yes, I spoke to the other person at the front desk the night before when I came down for ice, and was currently telling her. Both employees I had contact with were friendly, but not very helpful.

The visit itself was fine. Not great… the iron in the room didn’t work it’s seemed like a runner down billing. I called to ask a question about my bill about 9:30 pm 4/21. All I asked was why I got the first bill @ 3am and a 2nd for $20 more @ 1pm. He spoke to me like I was stupid and then he hung up on me. I called back and asked if we accidentally got hung up on. He said “Oh oh yes we did”. It’s incidentals, it’s a temporary charge even though it was not on the 1st bill. So then I said maybe instead of being a rude MF he could have told me this the first time I called. I then hung up He then called me back and told me he was reporting me to his manager and he would make sure I got reported to Marriott. I can stay anywhere, guess it won’t ever be Marriott again.
