"Very comfortable apartment, conveniently located."

We really enjoyed our stay in this 5th floor apartment and were very comfortable. It was quiet in the nighttime and morning. The balcony was so special with its view of the Telefónica building, and we loved having our morning coffee out there with the swifts flying overhead. The apartment is within easy walking distance to many key sights as well as the Sol metro station and the fantastic El Corte Inglés supermarket.Very easy to get to the Atocha train station (and from there, the airport on the 203 bus).

The kitchen could use a few more items, like a corkscrew, a wood or plastic spatula for the Teflon saute pans, and another small mixing bowl.

"A spartan hostal stay in a perfect location."

The location is a 10 - it's only five minutes to the Plaza Mayor and the Plaza Sol, in the heart of Old Madrid. Perfect. The room, however, is very spartan. That's neither good nor bad. It is just is. Bring extra shampoo and soap. Ear plugs too.

The building is noisy.
