Hotel Argento Zacatecas

From the moment we checked into this so called hotel (because is more like a Motel 6) we were disappointed. We had booked two rooms and we had several issues: 1. We were given a room without A/C or a ceiling fan. When I tried to call the front desk from the the room’s phone, the phone’s buttons where not working. When I finally got a hold of someone at the front desk she told me the hotel was going under renovations and they did not have any rooms with A/C or ceiling fans. The other room they gave us did have an A/C unit, she basically lied to me. The only way she switched us to another room was after the bellman talked to her and I’m not sure what he said to her but they then put us in a different room with a wobbling ceiling fan, no A/C, but that was better. 2. The bathroom towels were supposed to be white, but they were gray and very old, seemed like rags one uses to clean your car with. The towels also had holes in them. (Pics available) 3. The shower curtain had black mold throughout. (Pics available) 4. The room door keys where continuously not working. We had to go down to the registration desk at least twice a day (for three days) to get new keys. Worst than that was that the staff did not seemed to care. No apology was given only a new set of keys to try. One of those times a staff member came up to the room with us, I guess they were checking that we were not making this huge inconvenience up. The staff member was not able to open the door either

And it’s a Lotta improvement and it needs to be updated I would’ve called it a drive-through hotel or motel

Service was great and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend.

The ubication is good because is Zacatecas Downtown

The tub area to get in is very dangerous . There are no safety bars plus there toilet is a low boy . They need a chair height toilet . For a 6 ft plus person it is very low.

We went in not knowing anything about the hotel. The restaurant was empty, which should have been the first clue of things to come, but the place looked nice and I went in. It was 2:30pm. I ordered the rib eye steak which they did not have, so I went for the burger instead. My wife ordered fish fillet. The cook was apparently woken up from someplace since he didn't go into the kitchen until after we arrived. The burger was utterly disgusting. The bread was cheap store bought bimbo bread, the meat was also frozen store bought. It was flavorless. No seasoning, bland and soggy. There was a piece of nopal in the burger which gave it an ugly acid taste. The fries were very oily and super salty, almost to the point of being uneatable. The wife my fish ordered was dry and exceedingly salty as well. I would say to never eat at this place. I could not finish eating the burger, nasty as it was. Do not eat here. Ever. Please.

Exelent service! 5 star service Staff!!! Very clean rooms!

Parking lot is a nightmare , double parking and not leaving the keys, also no air conditioner

The only thing negative a have to say is that they did not have air conditioners in the rooms.
