Over all a nice hotel, the cleaning staff did good work but made an awful lot of noise from 7am on, doors being banged etc, rooms are also too small for a couple

We have visited the area lots of times but this is our first time at the Sol don Marco and I must say the hotel and amenities surpassed themselves so much so we have booked a return visit in October.

Nice hotel but in need of some TLC. Room spacious and comfortable, however patio door did not lock properly. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Room kept exceptionally clean and well serviced.

Good experience except for the meal plan options. I was offered the plan at once price and then the staff looked into it further and had to revise the price. Thought that was unfortunate when the hotel renaged on the price.

Perfect quiet location with immaculate surroundings. If you can do the beach walk to Benalmadena then it's a must. A well worth trek through beautifully clean, scenic paths with an eye opening marina to wander round at the end. If the food and drink are too much then €15 gets you a taxi ride back to the hotel. The staff are fantastic and the whole experience should really be under the 5star banner. Can't wait to go back again.

Wasn't given a very nice room. (No view). Location is excellent - right by beach. Paid for a great buffet style breakfast - fruit, cheeses, meats, breads, cereals, plus hot breakfast with omelets, eggs, potatoes, bacon,sausages and champagne
