Sol Torremolinos - Don Marco Adults Recommended

My husband & I stayed at the Sol Don Pablo for 1week from the 22 Dec.... We had originally booked the sister hotel Don Marco but we were not disappointed with Don Pablo. We had room No. 202 at the front end of the hotel which over looked the pools & beach..."excellent!" The room was clean everyday Breakfast had so much to choose from & cava if you wished each morning. The food was varied each night & flavoursome. The staff worked so hard & we're always very polite!!! We spoke with lots f holidays makers whom had been back 2/3/4 times. I would definitely go back again!!

It is a nice hotel with a fantastic breakfast (think all-you-can-eat good Spanish food) yet rather expensive and with staff that is non-accommodating. I made my reservation on the Expedia app which assumes a lot of things like the number of travelers as 1 by default. I made the booking not realizing this fact and when I showed up at the hotel they asked us how many people will be in the room and I said 2. Then they said my booking was invalid because the price was more than double if you had 2 people in the SAME room. Complete garbage. Anyway, besides this point, it was a nice stay very close to the beach. Also, parking is just about non-existent, so be careful.

I travelled with a friend staying at the Sol Don Marco for 4 nights. We booked a private transfer which took about 15 minutes. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were slightly on the firm side. Food was good, ate at both the Marco and Pablo although after 4 nights could become quite boring but there are plenty of restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. We sat at a different pool each day and there are so many sunbeds so never an issue trying to find one at whatever time of the day. Just outside the hotel is a shop either side selling drinks and snacks so we stocked up our water from there. Ben & Jerry's shop just down the road for ice cream :) Overall had a lovely few days and would recommend to anyone looking for a short break without travelling too far from the UK.

The hotel was OK, no 'wow' factor for a 4 star hotel, more of a 3 star. We went half board but only ate in the restaurant on 2 occasions as it was just not an enjoyable dining experience. The food was the same every single day. It is worth going for the room only option and eating out at the many varied and superb restaurants out and about. The reception bar at the hotel was open once in 5 days, finding staff was difficult, the hotel appeared to run on a very low number of staff. Many pools, 1 pool bar, no staff / waiters. Clean room and great area, probably much better hotels around for a similar price.

Lovely hotel with lots of sun beds and pool areas to choose from. Breakfast had a great selection and was always fresh. Close to beach and lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Would return to this hotel again in the future.

Lovely surprise break for my wife and her best buddy from Brighton, neither of the wives knew about it. Hotel gave us a bottle of champagne- nice touch. With a little more tlc of the rooms and a bit more attention to detail it could b a 5 star. Little things!!

Third time staying here in the last year and a half (I like it a lot so I keep returning). Lovely, safe place for a single female to enjoy a holiday. Great facilities but easy to opt out have a quiet time if you prefer. Beach is just across the road if you want a change of scenery.
