The White Swan Inn

Breakfast was good porridge was excellent, Dinner in the snug room really good atmosphere with two other couples and plenty of chat between us all, which ended up beside the fire near the bar. It felt like being in your own home chatting with friends. We were at the top of the house nice good size room with bath and shower. One of the housekeepers showed me room 1 which I would love to have if I am there again. Of course it was the TV show Bangers and Cash that brought us there, as also the two other couples we met, all classic car lovers. Simon and his gang and super.

We arrived at the White Swan and taken straight to our room and shown were everything was. The room was lovely warm and cosy with lovely toiletries. The pub area was just as lovely with log fires a bar area and an area with comfy sofas. The staff were great and the breakfast was superb, we will definitely return.

The location was great. Millie was very friendly, professional and accommodating. The room was comfortable and very cost.

Bed was very soft, bathroom light only came on if bedroom light was on which isn't useful in the middle of the night.

The breakfast was very good, staff exceptional. There was plenty of choice for breakfast.

The property was very warm and welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was very good. We will definitely be returning. Simon and his team made it a great experience.

Only minor, but I follow a non dairy diet and the choice of food for me was small. Only sorbet as an option for dessert.

Great location in heart of town. Food was good quality and very tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful
