Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful clean room with lovely bedding. Very good breakfast.

Only concern was the room was over the kitchen and the chefs were playing loud music with a very strong bass element which reverberated through the room, it took us a while to locate the sound. It wasn't until I went down to complain that I discovered where the sound was coming from. The management immediately turned the music off.

Our double room for under £65 turned out to be given an apartment with 4 rooms. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge. Very cosy. No room service for breakfast but I persuaded the staff to accept on this odd occasion. Very clean but old historic pub. Recommended

I had to abandon my powerchair and use a walker due to the narrow doors and uneven surfaces, but the staff did all that they could to help. Issues with the TV - remote missing - no disabled alarm in the wet room.Food excellent.Convenient for Canterbury - 15 min easy drive.

We really enjoyed our stay at the woolpack - it is close to canterbury and was well priced for a nice double room with an en suite. The inn has a lovely restaurant and and nice bar. we found the staff to be friendly, helpful and the food to be generally excellent. Chilham itself is quite small, but well worth a visit as it is a very nice village.

Despite this being a very last minute booking the accommodation was excellent quaint and well presented. Would recommend this accommodation even to those wanting an overnight stay on way to or returning from ferries without using the 'mainstream' accommodation providers. Little ore expensive but definitely worth it for comfort and uniqueness

Booked one night for meeting in Canterbury next day Passed through quaint little village to get there friendly staff. decent room and shower. great evening meal and service breakfast next morning was very good would stay again if in the area

Positives: cozy bar and restaurant with fireplace and great food, short dive to Canterbury, friendly staff. Negatives: overnight loud humming noise from A/C unit or something (stayed in October, room 6), separate hot/cold water faucets, no working (as far as I could tell) phones in rooms, in-room tea kettles are covered with thick limescale on the inside (I love tea, but I did not drink it there, how hard is it to clean them once every two months or so?). Train to Canterbury leaves every hour and the station is an unremarkable 20 min walk away.
