Beautiful place near a remote and beautiful quaint village square full of timber-framed homes and shops just west of Canterbury. St Mary's church is fine also.

Our stay was in a cottage across the road from main building....it even had a lovely garden behind where we enjoyed tea and wine. The surrounding town area was old time and we enjoyed a lovely event walk in the country around. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent. However whilst the accommodation comfortable, it was noisy. I could hear other guests climbing the stairs and doors being closed

Chilham is a picturesque village with a lot of character. The Woolpack is a well maintained Inn which has maintained the feel and charm of a traditional village inn.

Weekend away. Very nice welcome and spacious room, stylishly done out. Had lunch one day and breakfast the next, both excellent. Convenient for the local countryside but also a very quick drive into Canterbury. Room was only just warm enough, radiators don't get very hot.

Comfortable rooms well appointed. Unfortunately on our 2nd night we were kept awake by noise transmitted from the room above from 3am. If booking, and you are sensitive to noise, insist on a non ground floor room. The owner, Nicky, was very apologetic and unfortunately could not move us to an alternate room owing to the busy season. She did arrange for us to move to a nearby B&B which was very comfortable and quiet (Bagham Farm B&B). She refunded the 3rd nights' payment. The meals were very tasteful and competitively priced. We loved the outside garden where we sat for drinks and talked to friendly locals. The hamlet of Chilham is very idyllic & interesting. You can drive, use a bus or train to go to Canterbury or other towns but a car is the best way to access the area. Parking is available.
