The Woolpack Hotel

Family of 5 stayed in the suite with dog. Very comfortable beds, ,basic decor. staff very friendly and excellent evening meal and breakfast.

Nice buildings and room. Good food. Great location. But being an older building, the creaking noises when other guests moved about in the rooms above was very loud.

Lovely inn. Good food. Stable rooms are nice. Water for bath and shower are super tricky and gets scalding very quickly. Your choices are cold or scaling. Pillows were thin but bed was comfortable. Room was also a little dark and more electric outlets would be nice.

Loved everything about the Woolpack especially how dog friendly they are. Two slight quibbles- I told them the first morning that the hairdryer switch didn’t work and that it needed to be unplugged before it would go on/ off. My bedside light was faulty and kept going on and off every 5 minutes or so making it impossible to read by. Although the person O spoke to said she would report these faults to the housekeeper team absolutely nothing was done about these issues and no reference was made to them during our short stay. I was very disappointed as this very poor service was in huge contrast to the friendly and excellent service in the bar and restaurant

Wonderful location, fabulous food and a very warm welcome from every member of the team. Will be recommending The Woolpack highly to everyone we know.

a really genuine old pub ,with good friendly but efficient service,cosy bar,good food and a comfortable large bedroom and large shower.The village has so much character and history and surrounded by fields of hops,fruit trees and tranquillity.

Loved the hoteL. Great staff. One of the best atmospheres.

The shower was stopped up and would not drain at all. Had to use a nearby room that required going outside to access. But they did their best to make a mends.

Nice old pub with rooms out the back in what is probably a converted barn. Big restaurant and a smaller bar area. It's a Shepherd Neame house so the beers are Spitfire and Masterbrew. Food in the evening is a bit pricey but the pies were good so worth it. Check-in was easy, the room was a small but comfortable. WiFi was fine in the pub but didn't reach our room which was disappointing as we always look for WiFi when booking a B&B. We think there was something odd about the shower mixer as the water in the tap was very hot but you couldn't get a really nice hot shower. Wasn't a problem for us but might be different in the Winter.
