Lovely overnight stay

Room was fine, no WiFi although advertised, shower dangerous as hot and cold waters do not mix correctly. I was almost scalded when showering when temperature of water suddenly changes from lukewarm to very hot. Light pull switch in bathroom was hanging off ceiling.

We really lived the character of the Woolpack, staff was very friendly and the food was great

Arrived late and left early but the village is very attractive. The pub was very good with reasonable beer (but choice of only two cask beers and neither to my taste). Food was very good quality but wasn’t cheap. Choices were not particularly innovative but well delivered. Room was perfectly adequate and did the job for me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The food was excellent and the room comfortable if a little tired. We would definitely stay again.

We were lucky enough to book only an hour before turning up. The staff were very friendly. The room was a very pleasant surprise. It’s difficult to find accommodation for 2 adults and 3 children but this was perfect. The main double bed was 7ft by 7ft and could have fitted us all in!!! However there was a single bed and a double sofa bed too. We were all very comfortable. We ate in the pub in the evening. The food was lovely, service good and a lovely atmosphere. The surrounding village was very pretty & quiet. We would love to stay again and would def recommend.

Nice friendly pub / hotel. Great food and atmosphere. Bedrooms a little tired but clean and tidy.

Nice, friendly warm welcome in a lovely spot. Food was excellent and the room was nice and cosy. I will stop here again!

We only stayed for one night ,we would have liked to stay longer. Very nice village we would like to ome again in the summer months. Even though it’s a pub the room was cozy and quiet.

I recently stayed here as part of a wedding party. We were early for our booking, and the staff were very helpful to us as we were wanting to get ready. Staff were really friendly, the gorgeous dog was a bonus, whilst we had drinks in the bar. I found the room was a good size, comfy bed, and efficient shower. The hotel is in a lovely area. I would love to stay again if opportunity has me in this area again. Thank you
