Best Western Navarre Waterfront

I chose this hotel because of the reviews and I got a really good deal using reward points. Our trip started off great because they were able to get us in early and we were exhausted. It all went down hill from there. The hotel is run down and the room smelled musty as soon as we opened the door. We thought we could tolerate it, but it kept getting worse and worse and making my fiancé feel sick. When he went down to tell them, they told them that they would spray air freshener in our AC. They would not let him take the air freshener, the guy would only follow him with it. We ended up having to go buy an automatic sprayer so our room didn't stink. We were told there were no other rooms. We took the comforter and blanket off the bed because they had stains on them. The carpet is sticky and gross. We would have left immediately, but I paid with points and I didn't know if I could get my points back. We just decided to ride it out. They gave us a "pool view" but honestly, people walk by you so you keep the windows closed. Oh... and they leave music playing until 11pm at the pool. I was trying to sleep at 10:30 but country music was playing loudly. I called and they told me that they have to keep it on until 11. Noone was at the pool... its too cold. The next night it was on until midnight. We called and said please turn it off, its midnight. She told us she was so busy she hadn't gotten a chance. Busy? At midnight? The following night I called at 11:30 and they told me that I should have stayed on the other side. There won't be a next time because I would never stay here again! Also no one told me that they would be blaring music all night when we booked the room!? Our 2nd day here we were in our room getting ready. We have the privacy sign in the middle of our door and staff just walked in!!! Luckily, we were decent but they didn’t even knock to make sure No one was in here #1 and #2 we had the sign ON THE DOOR. Everyone was absolutely rude. I've never been to a hotel where they acted like this. There is a Residence Inn just next to this hotel, there is a Hampton Inn about 3 miles up. Either one of those would be 1000 times better than THIS hotel. We ended up getting day passes to Springhill suites on the beach and just slept here... after they finally shut the music off. There were a few good things... the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was alright. The water pressure was good and it was hot, although the drain was extremely slow. I would absolutely NEVER come back to this hotel. Not even if it were free! Please take my advice and choose any other option. Literally, the Renaissance is right there and 1000% better!

pool was closed 2 days of stay for maintenance but it happens. Especially if you expect nice things!

Close proximity to the beach. Big selection for breakfast every morning.

Floor could have been vacuumed better in the closet.

I was amazed with this property. To be fully transparent I was not expecting to be blown away with this property, we normally stay at much larger hotels but for this weekend trip we were wanting to get away without breaking the bank. I decided to give it a shot because of the extremely low price and the good reviews and I can honestly say I was absolutely blown away. The staff was the most friendly hotel staff I have ever dealt with, we arrived at 9 pm and were greeted with warmth, excitement, and care. The property was extremely clean, the rooms were well kept and comfortable. I loved the extra amenities they had. Amenities such as corn hole, fire pit, ring swing game, covered outdoor seating, waterfront seating, poolside seating, etc. I felt so welcome and so comfortable the entire time. I cannot stress enough how much we enjoyed our stay at this Best Western Location.

Right on the sound. Chairs to sit in and take in the view. They had a resident cat that was so cute. 5 minutes from the beach
