Courtyard by Marriott London Gatwick Airport

Friendly staff, clean facilities and easy to get to using the airport shuttle bus, even late at night.

Fridge didn’t work which we needed for medication.

Fantastic location if you have a flight from Gatwick South, just a short walk to the terminal (took us about 8 mins) and was well sign posted. Food and drink at the restaurant was pretty tasty.

Handy to the airport… except for the rip off shuttle bus.

The restaurant was awful. Every element of our dinner looked and tasted as if it had been in a bain-Marie all day. A black board advertised coffee, in front of a coffee machine, but when we came down for morning coffee… no one in sight. And the shuttle bus: 5 pounds for a 2 minute ride!?

The room was comfortable and well presented

The food was diabolical The coleslaw was unfit to eat, I would say that the mayonnaise was probably off. The pizza dry and the onion rings very burnt and should not have even been served. The only revive off teas got the coleslaw which I feel was unacceptable as most of the food was inedible. The garden was a terrible mess, no umbrellas in 30 degrees heat and the door to the garden was broken so no outdoor service was available and drinks had to be ordered inside and carried around the car park to the garden.
