Oriental Residency Hotel

Good location, it had a lift and onsite restaurant. The food was good, tasty and staff were exceptionally helpful. Arun from the restaurant and Max the floor manager who was so welcoming and attentive, he organised transport for us.

The staff is very well warm and welcoming. The pace and location are good. The sound proof windows truly helped a peaceful rest.

I think the cleaning can be improved/ staff could be trained better.

The hotel was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and always had a smile and a greeting for the guests. Special mention should be made of Max on the management staff. Nothing was too hard for him and did every thing possible to make the guests happy. Arun S in the restaurant was also amazing.

Liked everything

Senior staff and the Chef in the restaurant were wonderful. More English speaking staff needed. The food supplied was very good.

Towels did not need to be taken every day. The staff did not understand. Hand towels should be supplied. Our room booking was lost and we (4 people) were all crammed into 1 room for the first night in a room with a bathroom with mould. We were eventually given 2 much better rooms as originally requested. Wi-fi and internet was very lacking and not available in the rooms on the 5th floor. This needs to be upgraded.

Bathroom was very small and even though it had been renovated the workmanship was poor

I have enjoyed several stays there before.

Breakfast was good and location is excellent, well connected. Staff is very good & helpful and our stay was comfortable because of them.

Washroom could have been much better.furniture looks very old. Entire room needs renovation.
