Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Fort Wayne

Going through some interior updates. Seems like they are down to finishing touches on the first floor. Great friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast and a fairly inexpensive rate. Customer service both night and morning was excellent.

Not as good as other Fairfield’s we’ve stayed at but it’s ok

One of the dirtier Marriott properties I’ve stayed at. When I walked in the room there was a noticeable smell of body odor. Surfaces were dusty, several hairs on the bed and in the bathroom, bathroom garbage not completely emptied. Shower leaked water all over the floor, glad I was only staying 1 night because I used all my towels cleaning up the water. Room was directly off the elevator but oddly enough I didn’t hear a single person during my stay. I arrived around 9pm and the woman at the night desk wasn’t overly friendly. The gentleman who checked me out this morning was very pleasant and cracked a few jokes. Breakfast offerings were ok. Bonvoy Gold member, will not stay here again.

Basic Fairfield Inn that is undergoing renovations to the hallways and rooms. Floor 2 is complete while floor 3 is closed off. I stayed in a renovated room on floor 2. Room was nice but felt a little dirty, couple stains on furniture already and a long hair hanging from the towels. Fitness center was basic with old treadmills and a bench with a few weights. Wipes were dried out and there is no water cooler or way to rehydrate. Breakfast was good, staff was fine.

Breakfast was typical continental.

The hotel and room are dated; there were no luggage carts. Supposedly they have TWO and they were in use. For that many rooms/people? The drain in sink was sluggish and plug wouldn't lift up beds are old and uncomfortable; a strobe-light blue light flashed ALL night long right above the bed - could NOT sleep! The TV in room next door was loud enough we could hear it through the adjoining door walls. Ours was all the way up and we could not hear it over theirs. We could hear their conversations!

The room was generally clean, however the common areas, especially the stairwells were filthy. Was thoroughly disappointed the hot tub was drained and caution taped off.

the breakfast was great so was the location.

Bed. Tv. Fridge. Inside pool. Breakfast

Door cards gave us problems.
