Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Fort Wayne

I was checked in. And I did not have to provide a credit card "hold" for incidentals. I find this annoying! Thank you!

The property is in a great location, close to many dining and shopping options. The breakfast overall was ok but the shining star was the delicious Belgian waffles. The room was pretty nice and fairly clean. The pool was a great temperature and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The staff overall were very kind and helpful. We're happy that we chose this hotel for our vacation.

I booked the fairfield and ended up at the wrong one and was told oh well. The one I ended up at was dirty and smelled like bacteria in the bathroom bed was hard. The halls were noisy curtains didnt close because they were missing the shade part. Very horrible experience and not to mention it made my commute to where I was visiting 30mins away.

We had an unfortunate situation where we needed a hotel room at 3am Saturday morning over Memorial Day weekend. We were traveling with 3 little children and needed to get them in a clean hotel asap. We called Fairfield and were quoted a rate of $108 for a king room over the phone. When we arrived, they were unable to find my Bonvoy account to extend a discount. When we checked out, the rate that we were charged was more than double what we were quoted. There's no way this hotel is worth more than $200/night for a king room. Then when we tried to dispute it, the front desk was unable to do anything. Our complaint was escalated to the general manager who repeated declined to honor the original rate and instead told us that the $208 was the rate for that night. We literally stayed in the hotel for 8 hours. And they weren't even busy that weekend because when we called at 5pm on Sunday they hadn't even cleaned the rooms yet. We have tried to resolve this with Jane Parker, the GM but have now had to escalate to Hawkeye Hotels (management group). Caution when staying here and double check your receipts!

We used this hotel as a host for a charity event we held in fort wayne. It's location was perfect! Rooms were clean, beds soft, absolutely no complaints! The manager there went above and beyond for our group as well as 4 other event groups staying there. Adding personal touches & more! Would definitely recommend!
