"Comfortable stay for a night"

8.0

Our stay was comfortable. We had a suite with a kitchenette so the room was spacious enough. The room was a little dated from carpets to furniture/appliances, but nothing to really detract from the room itself. We had 2 queen beds with one bed having memory foam and the other a regular spring bed which was kind of odd. There is no breakfast served at the hotel which stinks, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Also, location was not to far from the the expressway. One thing that I had an issue with is the sign to the hotel. The sign was not very well lit and was deep into property and not off of the side of the street. We passed the hotel on our first go around. Other than that, our stay was pleasant.

"Don't Expect the Service to be Prompt or Courteous"

2.0

I was a late arrival. I had to ring the bell at the outside window. Unfortunately, I had to go on ringing it for about 10 minutes and still got no response. I was being bombarded by mosquitos. (there has to be standing water somewhere on the premises for them to be so thick) I called the phone and got a groggy voice on the line. He said he'd be up in a minute. It was only a couple of minutes before he came up. I handed him my reservation and asked if I could come in (away from the mosquitos). He said he could not. If he lives on site, he has enough authority to let a customer in. He got an attitude when I dropped my credit card and ID in the slot and proceeded to argue about how rude I am being when I have been waiting among his pet mosquitos for about 15 minutes and insisted on having the last word. He didn't bother to let me know, muchless advise me of the wireless password. The parking lot was sparsely populated. The main feature was an SUV with windows open. The spare tire rack was swung out and a 6th tire was leaned up against the vehicle. I'm not expecting the place to be the Hyatt, but I don't want my hotel to be a Jeff Foxworthy joke either. In general, one expects a suite to be at least two rooms. Not this one. It had a king size bed and a sleeper sofa. That's not a suite. The room was almost acceptable, except there were no oulets at the desk to charge a phone or laptop without unplugging the lamp & tv. Neither towel holder is attached to the wall adequately. I am going to try to check out of here and stay at the Holiday Inn Express tonight.

"Creepy - Don't stay here!"

2.0

This is NOT a place you want to stay. When booking online and looking at the picture, the place seems fine. We were moving my niece up to Indiana and had a truck bed full of her stuff. I wanted a place where I could park and keep an eye on the truck overnight. Well, the first thing I noticed is that this motel apparently has permanent residents, never a good sign. The second thing I noticed immediately after checking in was what appeared to be a hooker being dropped off and another picked up. All of this occured within 5 minutes of getting there and checking in. I immediately loaded the family back in the car, checked out and went across the street to the brightly lit Holiday Inn. I requested a refund when I checked out and was told there were unable to provide any refunds. Even after explaining the reason I wanted to leave, they were unwilling to even discuss a refund. Do not stay at this hotel! Especially if you are traveling with any family or hope that your vehicle may still be there and in one piece the next day. This place needs to be shut down!

"Ok. Not impressed"

6.0

This stay was just a place to sleep on our way to our honeymoon destination. The room was decent. Like I said not impressed. There were burn holes in the furniture. Bed was clean enough. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Decent if you don't want to fall asleep while driving

"NOT so "Suite" JUST NASTY!! Needs a Negative Rating!"

2.0

We drove 13 hours & the Holiday Inn was packed so we crossed the street to this dump site! It had a Trip Advisor sticker on the window & I told the man I would be writing a review. He replied in his foreign accent "we have good reviews". Our non-smoking room smelled to high heaven! The carpets were so stained we never went bare footed. I put bath towels on the "should be out on the curb" sofa. The bed spread came off immediately only to show a burn riddled blanket - it looked like burned Swiss cheese - that came off too so all we had to sleep with was a "I don't want to talk about it" sheet. The dresser was missing the top drawer! I took the wash cloths and wiped down all the filthy surfaces. The HUGE mirror was hung at bed level - you do the math! I guess the nasty mini frig & micro wave were the reasons they could call it a suite. We didn't take showers since I used the towels to clean with and we wanted out as fast as we could get out! The disgusting falling apart dirty bath room had NO heat - no vent no heat! The sink faucet leaked & the tissue box was of course empty. The lighting was so dim you couldn't see where you were & that was a good thing. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!! THERE SHOULD BE A LAW AGAINST RENTING ROOMS LIKE THIS!!!!!!! Plus I agree with another reviewer who said they felt unsafe - we also felt that way and got up several times during the night to check our truck & trailer.

"dirty property with questionable guests"

4.0

I don't like to be unduly negative about any place I go, but I have stayed at this place more than once and I just don't feel safe here. I actually get a "hinky" feeling about the place. The place is actually pretty new but one could never tell that by its condition and state of repair. I get the feeling some of the rooms are rented on a long term basis by people who quite frankly scare me a little. I definitely won't be going back. The only positive thing is jacuzzis in some of the rooms for which of course one pays extra. The rooms are also large. However, they are usually not very clean or well maintained and there are no flat screen TV's. This place would need to be really cheap to justify the conditions, but the prices aren't that much lower than anywhere else. I now stay at the Hampton Inn. This place is not very far from the Interstate, but it seems a world away from a desirable neighborhood. There are definitely better places in Blytheville that are also better values.
