Due to the size of the elevator, the hotel does not offer room suitable for wheelchair users. Please note that there is a dress code for the Bay View Restaurant which is smart/smart casual. No ripped denim or sportswear is allowed. More casual dining alternatives are also available. Please note, the spa and golf course can become very busy and guests are asked to book any spa treatments or tee times in advance in order to avoid disappointment. The outdoor pool is closed between 1st October & 30th April yearly.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Swimming pool: Closed from Thu, Oct 1, 2026 until Fri, Apr 30, 2027 A deposit may be required at the property.

"Excellent location for a Northern Cornwall trip"

Lovely comfortable room with a nice decor. The bathroom was well appointed and clean. Food and beverage offerings were very good and you can't beat the location.

The wifi in the room on the third floor was "visible" but I could not connect to it reliably with any of the three devices. On the ground floor, all was good, however.

"Gorgeous stay would absolutely come back but probably choose a different room next time."

Staff were lovely, amenities and food were fabulous as well as location.

Nothing other than we stayed on a very warm weekend and the fan in the room was not enough to cool the room down. The room only had one window so was very hot.

A step back in time. Beautiful views and grounds with a sense of elegance. The staff were first class, as was the food. An overall wonderful experience.

"Good for a two day break."

The property had a good selection of restaurants and bars. The food was excellent and service exceptional. The indoor and outdoor pools were excellent. The room was spacious.

The interconnected door was ill fitting and we could feel the draught through it and the key hole howled when the adjoining room had its window open. We could also clearly hear the occupants talking it wasn’t soundproof. Not too keen on the shower over the bath.
