Hollywood Casino at Greektown

Very Clean

The property itself was great, both the Hotel and Casino but it's Downtown Detroit so the streets around that area for about 5 blocks are tore up for construction. Fences are blocking the crosswalks and you can smell the sewers when you're walking. Not sure when that construction is supposed to be finished.

The mattress and pillows have been bad for a number of year. Not a good location for a good nights sleep.

They do not clean room daily. No extra towels left, the two days we stayed. You have to ask for service. Phone in room did not work to call front desk. Would not recommend.

Rooms not clean. Floors in the hallway not vacuumed. Bathroom was not clean. Ice machine not working. No microwave in the room. No iron or ironing board. Dirty drapes. Chipped paint. Screws hanging out of the door latch. I have video and pictures. Just disappointing all the way around. The the only star was a few staff members were friendly. Noted a few.

Room was clean and spacious but first night we dealt with a barking dog a few doors down at 2:00 am and the 2nd night we were woke at 2:30 by someone in the hall arguing/fighting!

Clean, friendly and convenient place to stay for a game!

Too long a line to check in

If you want to stay somewhere that is quiet, this is not the place. We were on the 24th floor and the music from below was so loud that we could not sleep. The front desk told us that there was nothing that they could do and refused to move us to a different room.
