Good location. Nice breakfast.

Pretty stressful check in - we were told that we're not on the list of guests. A call with the owner brought some light to the issue - they were overbooked. Finally we got a room which was reserved for someone else. Only one towel was provided in the room but fortunately we brought some towels from home.

I received a friendly welcome, but that is the most positive comment I can make!

Sadly the hotel is tired and mediocre. Judging by the photographs, I expected it to be significantly better. I was told the hotel had to quote booking.com more for towels and sheets. When making the booking, I highlighted that I would require gluton free bread with my breakfast. Not only was it not available, but the owner told me they couldn't afford to buy gluton free bread at £3.50 a loaf. I was gob-smacked! .

Nothing the hotel cancelled the booking at 10 am on the day I was due to book in

Staff friendly and helpful. Well situated for a stroll along the prom and only a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of town. Breakfast good and well organised. A very pleasant stay.

This is a large victorian house. Clean but very basic. We 3 bikers did not expect other than clean and it did that Not expensive. Others would call it a truck stop. Quiet location and we were satisfied Not a place toi stay a week.
