The Maemar Hotel

Room was of a good size, came with tea and a hairdryer, free wifi and the bathroom was a good size too.

Would benefit from instructions on how to get in (myself and another person both struggled). The water pressure in the shower was poor, and the bed was not comfortable. It was a double room, but I actually stayed alone, and needed both pillows as just one person because they were very thin. Curtain did not cover the window properly, so light crept in at 5am, and I had to change in a corner of the room as to not expose myself. The bedside lights were as bright as the ceiling one, and the bathroom light didn't turn on if the extractor fan was turned off (poor electrical work is concerning), which would definitely be annoying if the room were to be used by 2 people. There was also a TV but I didn't see a remote for it.

Don’t understand how theres so many bad reviews, it was clean, staff was friendly and comfortable

The only thing good was the location very near to town and beach

It is a dump looks like a hostel or shelter definitely not an hotel

Comfy bed, shower was nice in the room.

We could understand the price of the room when we realised what's actually going on inside !

When we arrived at the property we could open our door, when we finally entered the room we the couldn’t lock the door so we’re moved to another room. The water was so hot we couldn’t even shower and there were no staff available to sort it out and I had a child of 10 and 14 years old. The tv didn’t work. I made a coffee which tasted awful, which was because the milk was out of date and dated February 2026 and we are in April. Also the hair dryer sounded liked it was about to blow up and also the socket was loose on the wall. Also the carpet had been patched up and my daughter tripped over nearly hitting her head on the bedside table

The staff were extremely helpful, and it was good value for money.

The room could be a bit cleaner.

Won’t be able to sleep at night. The room above my room was noisy.
