Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Greensboro - Airport Area by IHG

As a former hotel auditor for a major chain who's stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years, I can honestly say this is one of the cleanest. There's nothing fancy here, but the staff is friendly, the beds are comfy, with Dove amenities in the bathroom and, as I said before, the place is spotless. We also loved the fresh brewed coffee machine in the breakfast room, so there was never a concern about the freshness. The only downside and reason I gave four stars is because the lighting in the rooms isn't the greatest and trying to read a book that I brought with me was almost impossible, especially since our room backed to a forested area that blocked much of the sunlight. Otherwise, I thought it was great and would definitely stay again and recommend it, with that one caveat.

Everything was great! When my child left her Phone in the room after we checked out, I received a call from the front desk about it. We were able to turn around and get the phone back!

There was nothing that I disliked about the hotel. Please let the staff know to keep up the great work! Please don't change anything that you are currently doing!

Location and brand new feel and the breakfast

The hotel room, room 324, had several issues: the AC was not working, there was no fan in the toilet, and when I used the toilet, water overflowed from the floor to the room floor. In the morning, I reported these issues to the front desk and the person in charge, but they did not offer any compensation upon checkout. On a positive note, the breakfast was good and the facilities were neat and clean, appearing brand new. It was a one-night stay, and I checked in late, feeling too tired to complain, so we just adjusted.

Paulette and the other front desk staff are amazing. They give free cookies (baked fresh everyday) and dog treats at the desk. Breakfast was good, rooms very clean.
