Days Inn by Wyndham Albuquerque Downtown

It was old and poor.

It has poor hygiene with bugs and dust, and it doesn’t even have a trash bin in the room.

Good location downtown

Filthy, no hot water, dirty floor, blood spatter on ceiling.

Hell hole! Should be bulldozed. I was only there to get away from a domestic violence situation. One night. I was as scared of the location and possibly catching my death because it was filthy! Disgustingly filthy. The air filters in the heat/ air unit wasn't cleaned. There was puke on the Bible and the chair at the desk which I used to prop the door from possible intruders. The sliding glass window was not secured so I had to use my cane to secure it. There were homeless, drug users, prostitutes coming and going. Yelling, fighting and so noisy I threatened the office to call the police if they didn't get it under control , I was going to call the police. The shower handle fell off in my hand when I turned the water on. I have a genetic terminal illness so cleanliness is a top priority for me. Safety too. There were no smoke detectors in the room. I slept with the lights on and my gun by my side was hot and ready to defend myself. No one should ever have to endure such a place. It should be bulldozed to the ground. Never to return! I made complaints with the company and they said if I wanted a refund I had to ask the people that run the facility. No thank you. The only thing that was good about the place was the man and woman in the office that checked me in were polite and caring. They deserve a better place to work in. If you want to risk your life, this is the location for you. Otherwise, run like HELL!

Was cheap and easy to book.

We just needed a quick cheap night, just a place to sleep. We knew this would not be a luxury stay, but the tv did not work, the remote batteries were held in by tape on the back of the remote, there was no trash can in our room, the large picture above the bed was off the wall on the floor, there are no visible outlets next to the bed or desks, they left us with 1/4 roll of toilet paper and no extras, the shades/blinds were dirty, and the AC unit is VERY loud. We did not feel the safe in this area.

A downtown downgrade. Cleanliness of this hotel is severely lacking. The security as well. People who are definitely not guests hang out in the parking lot more than the guests. A lot of the fixtures and amenities are broken as well. Parts of our floor was missing.
