"Great, would stay again."

Breakfast was perfect!! The front staff on second when we arrived was great and accommodating. Our son got sick and we needed cleaning supplies to help clean up the mess and she brought it to us.

The place could use an update, and a new bed, it wasn't as comfortable as others I've stayed in, but wasn't a reason to not return. It's great for the price.

"New River Trail Hotel"

We rode the New River Trail from Pulaski to Galax. The Hampton Inn in Galax is perfectly delightful. Our rooms were clean and quiet and a good value. Breakfast was as expected with a typical selection of foods. The only knock is not on the hotel, but on the roads to get to the hotel. The community of Galax needs to embrace the fact that they are a cycling destination given the gem of a trail that is the New River Trail. The roads have virtually no shoulders or bike lanes and put cyclists and automobile drivers at risk. A little more investment in infrastructure could go a long way.
