Canyon Village

The beautiful surroundings and the ambiance in the evening with all the lights on. Felt like a fairytale.The boma created a wonderful place before dinner in the evening ,where you could meet people and share your different experience of the day. There was always coffee,tea ,cold drinks and homemade biscuits available throughout the day. The free walk with a guide before sunset was very special! Staff was so friendly and made sure your needs are being looked after.

We loved everything. Just a suggestion, the rooms could do with a little upgrade.

Very nice setting near the Fish river canyon. We did a lovely walk up the mountain behind the lodges.

The food was generally ok but the vegetarian option was not very good. Although the staff were friendly and cheerful their knowledge particularly of the local walks seemed limited and they could do with having some more detailed maps of these.

Wonderful location, beautifully laid out. Nice room and comfortable beds with high quality linen. Staff were all lovely and very attentive. After dinner African singing performed by the staff was a real treat, loved the Amarula song! Buffet was excellent, nice to get some veg, and that's from a meat eater! Quite good value at 415, though could see why light eaters may feel it was expensive as price is fixed

If I had to be picky, pool was very cold, and a fridge in the room would have been nice.

Die Lage war für uns perfekt! Das Hobas Tor ist nur ca. 15 min vom Hotel entfernt. Hier startet man zu den Aussichtspunkten vom Fish River Canyon. Sehr sehenswert! Die Hotelanlage ist ein Traum - und die Aussicht vom Hotel fantastisch. Am Abend haben wir eine night walking tour gebucht - wir haben sogar einen ganz kleinen skorpion gesehen.🤗 Wir können es sehr weiterempfehlen.
