Wir haben mit Frühstück gebucht, es gab kein buffet sondern man hat einen voucher für eine mahlzeit (eier mit kartoffeln und speck oder würstel) erhalten und getränke wie saft oder Kaffee waren separat zu bezahlen

Very nice experience! The hotel is close to everything and the atmosphere was relaxed.

I loved the restaurant in the hotel, I didn’t want to leave the night I stayed there to go eat so the restaurant and bar was a wonderful time.

Fast, fun and friendly

It charged my card twice. I had to open a claim after I called the property for an explanation.

I was sorely disappointed with this property. A few annoyances occurred that built up my general dissatisfaction: To begin, the check-in process was long & drawn out with only one person in reception during the normal afternoon "rush-hour" of check-ins. After travelling several hours from Europe with flight connections, I was exhausted. I was given a room key with the wrong room number written on the key folder which required me to return to the lobby where a queue/line had formed. Oh yeah, the one working lift/elevator moved at a snail's pace, making the journey that much more annoyingly long. Reception: "Oh, I'm sorry, you're not in room 5xx (as written on the key folder), you're in 4xx!" Next morning, I wanted to enquire how the $15 meal credit works in Hilton properties in the US [breakfast is totally free for tiered Hilton guests everywhere else in the world]. Again, one lonely person at the front desk who immediately & mechanically blurted, "ROOM NUMBER???" I countered with an equally curt & cold response: "Ma'am, that is not how you address a guest." I told her the more appropriate response would have been to either answer the question or say, "lemme check your room number to verify what you are entitled to; and your room number please?" I chastised her and I believe I might have even frightened her (she must not have been used to being challenged like that). Again, one lone person without a Manager on Duty nor GM available [Jennifer Sandoval (GM) and Brenda Cortez (Asst. GM), are you listening?] Next morning, I wanted to get change for tipping the wait staff at the restaurant on premises. Again, one lone person. As I approached the desk and still at a distance, he rudely blurted out, "WAIT...I'm taking care of a guest right now!" [the guest was seated nearby] Oh yeah, my floor reeked of people smoking weed/marijuana, plus the property is in what appears to be a "dodgy" neighbourhood with many indigent, homeless people about. Still, there are several dining options! The only things that made a positive difference was one front desk person who handled my check-out politely, Sailed. Thank you, ma'am for being a beacon of polite professionalism compared to your rude, unprofessional colleagues. The other positives: the famous DoubleTree cookie and the wait staff in the restaurant.

We recently had a business meeting at the DoubleTree Hotel on East Flamingo. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I am a vegetarian with celiac disease. They were very quick to accommodate my dietary needs with tasty and healthy meals. It wasn’t the usual iceberg salads. The kind greetings from Jon, Lexi and Brianna each day was wonderful and made me feel like I was seeing my friends each day. Lei’s help at check-in made a difficult situation much better. Their staff is great!
