Waldorf Astoria Park City

Superb Resort in all Aspects ! As a Lifetime Hilton Diamond member, we were warmly greeted by the bellhop who took our bags out of our Uber. Walking to the front desk, we were warmly greeted by Anthony Fabiano who took the time to tell us extensively about the tremendous features of this beautiful resort. When we went to breakfast, we were warmly received by the staff who showed us the extensive breakfast offering. The room attendant cleaned our room daily in a meticulous manner and was warm as well. Anthony Fabiano (Front Office Manager) was extremely helpful in helping my wife and I map out our vacation itinerary - seeing all the magnificent sites that this majestic resort has to offer. He was amazing ! His leadership shows from the top down to the entire staff. Everyone is well trained and personally - warm and inviting. The rooms were decorated tastefully, clean, and the in-room gas fireplace was very nice. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood about 10 minutes from Park City's Main Street. There is a gondola across the street that takes you to the Canyons area of the resort. Service was hit or miss. They definitely need some better employee training. The areas with excellent service: bartenders, concierge, Joseph the shuttle driver, valet/bellhops, and restaurant wait staff. The areas with poor service: the front desk and one of our shuttle drivers. When we checked in, the front desk didn't know that the shuttle leaves on the half-hour after 5 pm (as the valet had told me) and our room was not ready at 4 pm. In fact, many people's rooms were not ready, and the lounge area was filled with many people still waiting for their rooms. When we got to our room late, a maintenance worker was in the bathroom plunging our toilet. Not a great way to start things. Our shuttle driver into town was a last-minute stand-in and dropped us off at the wrong location (town hall instead of the post office) and told us to be picked up there after dinner. We ended up waiting for over 30 minutes and when I called the front desk confused, she YELLED at me. I had high expectations. We left disappointed and won't return. It simply isn't worth the high price.

I must say this is exactly what we needed! The Waldorf is an exquisite establishment. The moment you arrive you are greeted with excellent service. Ski valet service was top notch. All of our gear was ready to go each morning. Just cross the street and you are on the Gondola up to Canyons. Please ask for Dallin over at the concierge desk. He went above and beyond for us during our stay. Any requests we had were taking care of immediately. If you want some of the best craft cocktails you’ve ever had definitely head over to the Powder bar and meet Kate and Spencer. They take so much pride in what they do! Be sure to check the weekly calendar as they have events in the lobby throughout the week. Wine Wednesday and Sushi Friday was our favorites. Be sure to try the complimentary Homemade marshmallow s’mores each night. They are fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Such a spectacular time! We will be back next ski season and we hope to see everyone again!

I took my two teenagers skiing. The hotel is breathtaking. Staff is qualified and so polite. We had the best time. Ski in/out Bar area so much fun

The Waldorf Park City has top notch facilities and amenities combined with the incredible, customized service of a favorite local inn. The staff is extremely warm and welcoming while never being intrusive. Dallin at the Concierge desk attended to our every need with a friendly, solutions-oriented attitude. Jeff at the Valet did the same. Ask for them when you come and you will be perfectly cared for! Thanks to them, plus Spencer and Kate at the bar, we don’t want to stay anywhere else! You will never be disappointed at the Waldorf Astoria Park City.

Great location and staff. Dallin was fantastic and made our trip a pleasure with his top notch service and attention to detail. Rooms are luxurious and directly across the street from the Gondola making access to the mountain for skiing simple. Hotel also has shuttle service to nearby areas avoiding the necessity of driving.

Needs a refurbishment on bathrooms but decor is ok.

This is a must visit when in Park City. We enjoyed every minute of our visit. Some favorites were cocktails at The Powder Room and a massage with Rachel at the spa. Dallin, the concierge, was also so helpful & attentive! We will definitely be back!

I want to give a special shoutout to Dallin and Anthony at this property. My skis unfortunately didn't make it to Utah and Delta refused to have them delivered. I only had a couple days to ski and asked Dallin if there was any possibility of a team member picking my skis up at SLC on the incoming flight so I wouldn't lose ski time in the afternoon having to go back to the airport. Within minutes Dallin let me know Anthony would be able to pick them up. He kept me informed and personally delivered them to my door, just in time for my morning calls to be over and for me to go ski. Thank you very much, Dallin and Anthony! As Danny Meyer would say, the way you make people feel is what they remember and I was very happy!
