They could have been better in assisting the customers. Answering messages quicker and have someone meet the customer when they check in.

bathroom fan needs to be more powerful wasn't a true king bed - two twins joined, so a seam in the middle further from Royal Mile than expected - 20+ minute walk Canadian dollar to pound exchange resulted in C$457 per night for a one bdrm apt - higher than what we would pay normally for a dated apartment

We had a wonderful stay at this clean and private apartment. The location is perfect—about a 20-minute walk to the Royal Mile and 15 minutes to Arthur’s Seat. Getting here was easy: we took the bus from the airport to New Town and walked the rest of the way-30 min-. The neighborhood is highly walkable and packed with excellent ethnic restaurants. Above all, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to drop off our bags before our official check-in time.

The bed, in one of the room was too soft.

It was nice to have an apartment and it was pretty with high ceilings and it was clean. The location is fine if you are a walker, or are not opposed to buses, if you want to do the Royal Mile touristy things. The bus stops are all within a block or two. The appliances are newer and the water pressure gives a great shower.

Two things: the door lacks a peephole or a chain lock to see who is knocking. (Someone knocked and rattled the knob shortly after we arrived. We assume it may have been the owner or their agent, but we couldn’t check.) Also, the vinyl flooring has spots that are VERY slippery. Use caution if wearing socks.
