Oya Beach Resort – All Inclusive

I was transferred to Mitsis Laguna as Mitisis Serita Hotel was closing for winters. I had a great time at the Mitsis Laguna Resort. the Resort is beautiful, very large rooms, good food and most importantly the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Superb staff, could not praise them more highly, food was buffet style with a good choice.Hotel is 20+ years old, but most was refurbished and really clean and fresh. Clean throughout, room not bad lovely pool, lots for children to do. Right by the sea. A little distance from anything, but taxis readily available. We would return.

Comme de plus en plus souvent, en Grèce et ailleurs, le "ramage" n'est pas exactement à la hauteur du "plumage". La description extérieure (bâtiments, éclairage type "son et lumière", jardins et piscines) s'accorde mal avec la qualité très moyenne voire médiocre des produits servant de base à la prestation alimentaire (nourriture et boissons incluses) et avec la forte dimension de "cantine" (queue, bruit et odeurs) des restaurants principaux. C'est aussi le cas de Mitsis Serita Beach. En cette fin de saison, la gentillesse et le sens du service de l'ensemble du personnel ont compensé l'impression de "presque déjà fermé": à titre d'exemple, seul le restaurant principal est ouvert et assez vite lassant 3 fois par jour. De plus, une certaine désinvolture n'est pas absente quand des réservations sont confirmées 3 semaines à l'avance et les clients informés 2 jours avant leur arrivée!!! que l'hôtel sera fermé en cours de séjour et leur transfert effectué dans un autre établissement du même groupe hôtelier. Les conditions même du transfert étaient déplorables: un seul autocar, à l'état d'épave, pour ENTASSER les CLIENTS, debout, dans l'allée centrale. Cela nous a rappelé nos voyages d'étudiants en autocar de 3ème classe au Mexique, dans le sud de l'Inde ou en Afrique...il y a plus de ...30 ans!!! Quant à l'hôtel d'accueil -Mitsis Laguna Resort-, "plumagement," plus luxueux, il n'a pas davantage été "ramagement" à la hauteur de la situation (insonorisation, restauration).

FANTASTIC HOTEL FOOD AND SERVICE SUPER. STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL AND SO GOOD HUMOURED. SPOTLESS CLEAN. BEACH ON DOORSTEP. 10 MINUTES FROM HERSONISSUS WHERE YOU CAN SHOP TILL YOU DROP. WE HAD A CAR ON HIRE FOR A WEEK AND WE VISITED SEVERAL CRETAN VILLAGES IN THE MOUNTAINS AND IT IS ONLY HALF AN HOUR DRIVE TO SEE THE CRETAN CULTURE . ALSO WELL WORTH THE TRIP OF 1 HOUR AWAY IS THE ISLAND OF SPINALONGA . IF I WAS GOING BACK TO CRETE I WOULD BOOK INTO THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Excellent staff, great service. Hotel is a bit dated, but wouldn't take much to get it up to standard. Still very clean and well looked after. Food was good, nothing special. Make use of the taverna - proper meals from a small but decent menu. Also much hotter than the buffet restaurant if you're fussy about that kind of thing! Beach is disappointing but it's similar along that whole area, having stayed nearby previously. Pools are good. I don't think they're heated but they were warm when we were there. Plenty to keep kids occupied by the looks of it. Overall a good hotel, would stay again, but it could do with a bit of modernising to bring it to the level of the other mitsis hotels.

Uns hat es im Grossen und ganzem sehr gut gefallen! Alle Angestellten sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Das Essen war gut, hat von Allem etwas, will heissen man findet immer etwas was einem passt. Wen es nicht stört, beim draussen essen von etlichen freilaufenden Katzen begleitet zu werden, die manchmal sogar auf den Tisch kommen, dann steht dem Vergnügen nichts im Wege :-) Das Hotel kann sich die zum Teil sehr unanständigen Feriengäste auch nicht aussuchen, war aber zum Teil sehr ärgerlich!! Aber wir haben uns dort gut aufgehoben gefühlt und uns gut erholt.

Très bon séjour! Le personnel est toujours à notre disposition pour la moindre question. Les piscines sont super. Seul bémol pour nous était les oreillers qui étaient très dur et gros (avec les problèmes de dos de mon mari ce n'était pas l'idéal). Je conseil cet hôtel pour les personnes ayant des enfants ! Et encore merci à toute l'équipe de Mitsis Sérita Beach !
