Arena Hotel

Very helpful staff. Clean rooms. Very reasonable tariff. Very consistent & reliable customer service.

The bathrooms were not clean at all, we had one rooms tap covered with toothpaste and the other rooms shower did not even work. There was also a clump of hair in the sink.

We booked online. Arrived 2am exhausted. At 215am they demanded we return to reception to be informed We had to change rooms and pay more money as we had 2 small dogs. I pointed out their ad said pet friendly. Very rude about it and the whole manner it was done in made me really uncomfortable. Refused a refund so we could leave. Refused to let us stay unless we paid. Then returned us to the same room! There we no blankets or doonas on the bed. A sheet and thin bedspread so we were also freezing. After all that banged in the door at 10am and told us to hurry up as they needed to clean the room. Really unpleasant and uncomfortable.

I made online booking and it was confirmed available. I arrived at the hotel slightly after 10 am and the receptionist told that no room available before 1 pm. I requested the booking to be cancelled and she said No. If the room isn't available before 1 pm why doesn't show that online ? I just lost money for no reason.

Basic overnight stop on the way home to Qld. Accommodation met our needs, will use hotel again when we venture to VICTORIA in August

I liked that it had a servo across the road

Easy to access & 24Hr reception is good but it is next to a 24Hr service station so it is very noisy

The staff were friendly and helpful. The appliances were functional and worked. The room was neat and clean. The property was convenient with a variety of eateries and a supermarket nearby. It was about 15 minutes from Olympic Park. It was very cost-effective. The space in the room was very good.

The room was quite old, there was stains on the carpert and the bathroom was awful. There was black grime on the bathroom tiles.

Staying for three nights ~ very friendly staff good parking rooms are very clean ~ all adds up to a great stay and a good nights sleep !! BONUS ~ just learnt this place has a few pet friendly rooms as well ~ will be back with out little Cavvie ~ yes !! Thank you
