We have stayed here a few times & love the hotel. Rooms, staff & food are all top class. We only had 1 complaint this time, as we were leaving at 04.45 this morning there was no hot water in the shower & no phone in the room to call night porter... The porter did say when we checked out that hot water is on a set timer so if we tell them next time we’re going early they will make sure to put the water on earlier for us 😁😁
Ashbourne is a great place to visit, this hotel ticks all the boxes for a basic get away. The only reason why it wasn’t 5 stars is because the things that were broke or faulty last year were still the same this year. Staff are friendly and location is good.

Lovely clean central hotel. Breakfast was gorgeous Staff could go a little more out of the way to make you feel welcome pick their heads up away from the computer and say hi when residents go past. Other than that 10 / 10.

Hotel room was spotless as usual, staff were pleasant and helpful. However, I was woken around 2.30am by a party in the next room along with the constant slamming of doors!! I went down to reception at 3am and asked to be moved, staff were very apologetic and were able to move me.
Great to stay there , ive stayed several times now .
Never use this place again, loud music and gangs shouting all night, heating on full blast and no way of shutting off cabinet bolted to the wall controls underneath, had to be shifted to another room in the middle of the night, offered a free breakfast , i declined and left in a hurry
