The Kauai Inn

The Kauai Inn is a quiet, peaceful Inn. The grounds are pretty. It’s situated about a mile walk from the commercial district of the Anchor Shopping area and the Harbor Mall and Kalapaki Beach. It’s a 3 mile drive to Costco. We stayed for 35 days and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and abundance of aloha from the owner and all of the staff.

It was great staying at kauai inn. Alfred was really helpful and was great to take care of us. I would recommend staying here at Kauai Inn.

We arrived after midnight to a very nice hotel staff. The hotel is charming and clean. Loved the continental breakfast. Overall a very good experience.

Stayed for seven nights in December 2925: Clean place, friendly staff (Alfred was super helpful) relaxed atmosphere, well kept grounds, quiet at night. Plenty of free beach towels with free towel exchange. Breakfast was just okay ( fresh fruit as advertised, choice of cold cereals, yogurt, croissant, bagel, toast, muffins) but loved the 24/7 coffee availability. Also, front desk is staffed 24/7. The pool was tiny, but accommodated kids. A few evenings with live music (ending by 8 or 9). Friday evening, they showed a movie on a big screen in back lawn area for everyone, a nice bonus! Snorkel gear offered for free was adequate. There were friendly cats wandering around that you could pet or avoid as preferred. Yes, roosters too. The one negative (because I am a curmudgeon) was that all rooms look on the pool, so if the pool area is loud, you can hear it. This place is a great value and we plan to return to it with our next Kauai visit.

Alfred was so helpful from check-in to our departure! There aren’t many workers that make sure a guest is 100% taken care of but Alfred is that guy! He carried all of our luggage up to the second floor (no elevator) and just overall made our stay amazing!

I couldn’t recommend the Kauai Inn more. The warm atmosphere and friendly staff made it a wonderful stay, and one I would happily return to in the future. Lots of afternoon shows and activities, along with an amazing breakfast!

This place perfectly reflects the Kauai experience I was hoping for. It has a true local vibe, especially in the evenings when live music and lively gatherings fill the pool area—the heart of the property. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring all parts of the island, yet it still feels like an energizing and relaxing spot to spend both nights and days. To top it all off, the service and kindness of the entire staff are outstanding—especially Alfred, who is always there to help, no matter the hour. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

This was such a wonderful experience and could not have asked for any better. Fantastic views, staff, and environment within the hotel. Entire staff was very kind and helpful, especially Alfred who was happy to help with anything we needed. Overall amazing stay and highly recommended!

We stayed here for the night and it was perfect! The breakfast in the morning is amazing and the staff were all so friendly! Shout out to Alfred for his kindness during our stay and keeping the chickens away! :)

Nice stay, property is nice. Rooms are ok. A bit of a deep clean would help but not a dealbreaker. Add some more storage for luggage and hooks to hang towels in bathrooms and the room would be perfect. Everything else amazing!
