"Beautiful View"

"Romantic hotel with great service"

We only had the chance to stay in Zermatt for one night, but so happy we found this hotel and WISH we could have stayed longer. They had just opened for the summer in the beginning of June, but the hotel and room was absolutely beautiful. Service was excellent. Hotel restaurant was pricey, but view from the patio was to die for. I recommend to anyone! We were given an upgrade and our room was spacious and gorgeous. Lots of windows and wooden furniture/walls everywhere that was cozy and charming. The only negatives: There was construction going on near our hotel (but I suppose everyone is scattering in the summer to renovate before the snow); Our room was on ground level (even though our hotel was high up) and we were on a walking path (not busy, but close enough that anyone walking by could hear and see right in our room - and we could hear them); Lastly, our view of the mountain was partial. I wish we had requested a full view. Still an overall amazing stay that I will never forget.

"Christmas Card perfect"

This hotel is unbelievably wonderful. It is everything you imagine Switzerland to be. It is the front of every Christmas card! The service is impeccable. The views AMAZING!! I will return to this hotel again and again. Nothing I could say would do it justice. It is a 6 STAR HOTEL listed as a 4 and a half. Schoenegg..... you made our vacation the perfect ending to being in Europe. All hotels should measure to your standard.

The ambience of the hotel was amazing. The staff was incredible and they did everything to make your stay memorable. Zermatt is also incredible and very romantic.

"Good"

Due to miscommunication between Hotels.com and the hotel management,the manger threatened me to get out of the hotel at 10 pm, after we checked in and getting ready for the bed, with 4 small kids. The email confirmation saved the day for me, and Hotel manager could have been more polite, though she was very professional and cold blooded.
