Campanile Hotel Northampton

The room smelt of sewage as if the drains had backed up, the aircon in the room couldn’t be altered so had to have the window open as the room got Hot. The staff were friendly and polite once they turned up on the desk.

Stayed on business good time everything was fine

The staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel room needed a repaint and was quite tired in places (the loo seat had seen better days!) but it was clean and comfortable. There was no hair dryer or iron in the room and they only provide one towel per person (though there were two bath towels in the twin room I stayed in). I would at least expect a hand towel per person, and I’ve never been to a hotel where this isn’t provided before. From checking other reviews after my stay this is a standard procedure but one that needs to be changed in my opinion.

The stay was pleasant, the site clean and staff were friendly. The only let down was an uncomfortable night sleep on which was clearly a well used old mattress which was bumpy with hard uneven springs pushing through.

Lights broken. No where to put anything in bathroom.

Good hotel. Friendly staff at reception. Room clean. Shower good. It had a restaurant and it serves food in the evening. Choices are limited. However across the road is a Harvester.

Generally good for a short stay. Room clean and decent size. Hotel staff were lovely and happy to help. Negatives are the breakfast (very dry and luke warm) and the shower curtain which almost wraps around you as you have a shower. Otherwise fine and very convenient for Silverstone.
