DoubleTree by Hilton El Paso Downtown

I liked the friendly staff and the restaurant and the cleanliness of the room

The elevator system is terrible...its hard to get to the parking garage because the elevator that works is the one that goes from the 7th to the 13th.

We loved our room with the mini gym. It was a great experience for us

Parking for a large suv

We stayed on 12/13/25 in room 1119, but the elevators were too noisy all day and all night, so you could hear the elevators noise inside the room, so it was a terrible night that ended with the fire alarm going off around 8 a.m., so this was the worst night in a hotel.

Great bfast, location. Samsonite gorilla, cleaning by throwing beds around needs to chill at 7am.

I am a lifetime Hilton Diamond member and I have never had an experience as bad as the one I had at the Doubletree Hilton El Paso. The lobby was wet with dirty water that I had to wade through to get to the front desk. It looked like someone was going to mop it but left. I got to the front desk at 1450 and was advised that my room wasn't ready. I asked would it be ready at check-in at 3 pm and was told yes so I went and parked the car. Check-in at 1515--room not ready. There were at least 5 people in the lobby who had been waiting for rooms for some time. There was one person working the desk who was very flustered due to the lack of available rooms that everyone had reservations for. Evidently is was a house keeping issue. In the 2 hours I waited past check-in time 3 people came down to complain their rooms were not clean--beds not made, towels still on the floor, etc. I had started my travel day at 5 a.m. and was ready to get some place clean and quiet, so I made a reservation at the Hilton Garden in 1 mile away and they accommodated me immediately. Not once did any kind of supervisor or manager come to the front desk to assist the one desk clerk or to explain what the problem was to appease some very irate customers. I'm in El Paso for a week every month and will never consider this hotel again, ever. It's dirty, run down and they obviously have staffing issues. I expect more from Hilton than what I experienced at the Doubletree El Paso downtown.
