Friendly staff.

Room was very outdated. Lamps weren't working. Shower curtain wasn't very nice.

Beautiful hotel with the most helpful staff, we had a wonderful staff and would highly recommend it

The breakfast was horrible , cold , very little available

The foyer was warm and inviting upon arrival. The food in the restaurant was nice. The staff that we interacted with were lovely and helped fix any issues quickly.

The rooms are a-bit grubby and run down. The social media team are obviously very good and their job because they portray a lovely fresh clean ‘recently upgraded’ room. It must be the bridal suite that features on all the social media posts. Our room the wallpaper was peeling off the carpet was filthy, it looks like droplets of blood on the carpet , we had no remote control for the Tv (reception got us one). Also before we went to the spa there was a heater in our room, when we came back it was gone. Someone was in our room, I had my jewellery , underwear clothes etc sitting out. I fell like maybe we should have been asked if they could enter? It felt a bit intrusive. The ‘spa’ was full, we couldn’t use the sauna. The hot tub had a rim of tan scum around the inside and not enough water in it, it was also FULL of suds for some reason. It felt like it wasn’t managed very well as in, there were too many people allowed in at the one time .I’m glad we didn’t book the two hour slot , we spent 45minutes of the hour laying on the recliners in the relaxation room as we couldn’t access anything else. Food was really nice in the restaurant when the order was correct. I got the wrong dish the first time which then meant my husband was finished by the time my correct food arrived, but it was very vey nice. Breakfast service was awful, waitresses had to be asked so many times by everyone there to get more sausages, more bacon, more bread. We had to ask twice for tea. It was so badly run. I’m not sure if they were all new to the service industry or if they were just students home for Christmas who did not want to be there , which is fair enough .😂 Overall , it was ‘grand’ but I wouldn’t be doing the nearly 4 hour round trip again, we would have got better for the price elsewhere .

Everything was perfect
