Aree Tara Resort

Little Gem of a hotel . Central location to shops,bars, restaurants and the beach. This lovely hotel has the most comfortable bed.Spotlessly clean and such helpful friendly staff. Our room was a garden facing very quiet big bathroom balcony with table and chairs. Very very comfortable. The pool was clean not massive but just the job to cool off . The beach as you go out to the right is quiet Long tails leave from there to various islands we took one to Railay Beach really easy to obtain your ticket and no problem at all. The sports bar and restaurant was really good food . The boxing was fun to lots of food stalls and shops. Go out and turn left to the beach you get along road with every thing you would want but at the end of the road are beach bars and comfy sun beds . Food wise we wanted authentic Thai food cooked by Thai’s we did manage to find that if you look .

Friendly staff, clean property, and the location is very convenient

We really enjoyed our 10 nights in Aree Tara. The staff are super, the breakfast is good and the location is excellent. The rooms are also a very decent size. The negatives were the small pool area (pool was good but not many sunbeds), and several areas around the pool that are trip/slip hazards. Also showers always leaked out onto the floor.

Great hotel to stay, but make sure you book the rooms in the 1st or 2nd floor because the WiFi is not so good in 3rd, 4th, 5th and so on, apartment from that room service is great, friendly staff, helping staff etc. Airport transportation was very comfortable.

Very comfortable and good hotel. Helpful staff. Very tasty breakfast. Nice swimming pool and cosy area around it. Enough choices of cocktails and beer in pool bar. Hotel is very good located in the street with perfect Thai food possibilities. Also massage and beauty salons. Tuk tuk placed also near by. Just couple minutes with tuk tuk to the beautiful Ao Nang beach. With sun beds and drinks. Also some minutes with car to harbour to go to Phi Phi island with best travel company Sea Eagle.

Me and my daughter stayed there for two weeks in january 2025. Realy nice and helpful people all over the hotel. Nice, clean room with space and a bathroom with both shower and a bath tub. Beds were nice, and also nice with a balcony. Air condition was lovely, and easy to regulate. All very good, also the breakfast. And the colors all over makes it very delicate.

We had a nice stay here. It was very short. But there was a travel person at the desk you could book excursions with which we did. As it was super easy we missed breakfast and they gave us a bag each to take with us so we didn’t miss out. Good location, everything near. Pool is very closed off so not much sun hits it. Pleasant staff.

Pool was unsafe and full of algae, wifi didn’t work and room smelt of mold

We had a pleasant stay in Aree Tara resort. The receptionists were very kind and always smiling. Rooms were cleaned every day and housekeeping were just as the people from the reception always very kind. We didn’t ate there for breakfasts but we did order dinner once and that food was excellent and the presentation was nice. Worth staying

Resort maybe a bit of stretch, a hotel is more like it. Just away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang, made it the place to get the best of both worlds. The hotel is surrounded by numerous travel agents in which you can get any of the numerous boat tours and scooter hire. Which makes getting around and activities easy to do. A nice pool, even though shaded most of the day, and a good selection for breakfast. The only downside I would say is that it is getting to that point where a few things need a refresh and updating. On the whole though I would definitely stay here again.
