We stayed overnight in route to San Antonio. We were comfortable and the staff was very helpful!

Location great. Pretty area

Weak coffee

Nothing special. Room was clean. Price was slightly over $100 a night. Staff were friendly. Facility - on the inside looks worn. Outside - this is supposed to be a no -smoking property. The barbecue area (pergola) was nasty. Cigarette butts everywhere - in the flower beds - crushed out on floor of pergola. The barbecue pit handles were broken and there was old food underneath the pits. As for the kitchen - very limited utensils/knives. Bathroom sink Initially worked fine but the stopper broke on the first night. The maids carts were left in the hallway 24/7. Next time I will choose a different hotel.

This is probably the worst hotel we’ve stayed at in a very long time! TV has very limited viewing options, there was only a single dining table type chair to sit in (it was in very old loose condition). The beds, are hard planks, I could barely stand up after a long sleepless night my back hurt so bad! hope to never stay here again, I know the Candle Wood Suite name is a leader in the hotel world. Just wish I could get my money back! Oh well headed to Temple Tx.

Very clean, modern, and comfortable

We arrived late and could not walk on the sidewalk because of the way trucks were parked, with our suitcases this is inconvenient. Checkin was slow which caused the gentlemen behind us to ask if he could go before us. The room is average our room had no shampoo and the toilet roll holder was broken. Bed was average, there is also a horrible smell in the Hotel which is most unpleasant. Overall Hotel would not go back to.
