Candlewood Suites Victoria by IHG

This is the second time I have problems with your third party vendor. Once they charges me twice and recently I marked down to pay at the property and they still charged me. Due to the fact that the hotel was turned apart and under construction I did not stay there and reported the charges not to be paid by my American Express.

Nasty place it was not fit to stay, under construction. Piss poor. I will never stay at a Candlewood Hotel as long as I live. The guy at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. He needs to be fired or retrained in customer service

The motel is under extreme renovation. There were mattresses stacked in the lobby and the hallway down from our room was not sealed off. There was total disarray of paint, sheetrock, plaster, trash/ debris in he hallway and rooms with no doors. Toilets not installed. Rolls of carpet leaning against wall. Trip hazards at the elevator it was a total mess and should not be renting out rooms. They should not be renting out rooms on the floors that are being renovated. The Sheetrock dust was everywhere. We really should be refunded for the rental on this mess. The staff was amazing and I feel badly they have to work in this condition. I have photos is needed.

Love the new look of the hotel and rooms

I stayed two nights and they take a deposit but 2 weeks later it was not returned. Then they say it's your bank not us. My bank didn't take the deposit you did. So now I look like I'm out of my money. Not good business.

There was no heads up that the property was under renovation. The employees who were remodeling the property would be in the parking lot drinking blasting music until late in the evening. The room we got was a newly renovated one and was pretty awesome. Lobby staff and cleaning staff were really nice.

My wife and i just stayed the night there last minute because we were in town for a concert and didn't want to drive home.

Excellent except it is being remodeled and no breakfast area. Otherwise it was fine.

I just loved the friendliness of Miss Christina and Mr. Agustín. They made the whole trip!!!

the toilet seat in the new room was an old, scratched up, pee stained one..

They were remodeling but should have done one floor at a time. The paint fumes gave me a severe headache. There were no end tables to put anything on by the bed. Paint on the floor putty going into the bathroom hallways had plastic on the floor, where you almost fell slipping on it. All the rooms around me were being gutted. This was a horrible experience.

Tv didn't work, no plug outlets by bed to charge phones or plug fan in. Room was joined by split door can hear other people come in and out of their room all night.
