Hillside Boutique Hotel

The staff was exceptional. Jenny was very helpful and even had time to show me the renovations that is going around there. As this is my 5th year staying @hillsideboutique ! Can't wait to see the finished place.

There wasn't really too much not to like staying there. Although renovations was going on, the place remained clean and pleasant. The pool , when we went swimming, wasn't too sparkling clean like we've been used to and there were little frogs or toad in the pool 😬, and pool lights never came on. Will we go back ....... YES , we will. See them July 2026.

Good placed for resting

Hillside boutique was so cute! We loved our stay. Check in was easy, the service was great and the pool was wonderful.

Hot water was barely warm

The hotel was very stylish, comfortable, and clean. Would highly recommend if you are in the area! We weren't able to take advantage of the pool or spa but both looked very nice and we would have if we had the time!

I had always wanted to stay here and was so excited to. Our check in was fast, in fact too fast and we weren't greeted with the most friendly staff. Upon getting to our room it was warm in there so I turned down the AC. After awhile it wasn't cooling down and we noticed that the sliding farm door for the bathroom was covering up the intake for the AC so there was very little cool air blowing. Just not a great design. Our balcony was covered in debry, leaves and real dirty, so we couldn't go out there without wearing shoes and cleaning the chairs. But the worst part was our bed! It was the loudest bed we've ever slept in. Every move woke us both up all night. No sleep at all. Next morning we wanted breakfast, but the restaurant doesnt serve breakfast. I wish we had a positive review, we really wanted to love this place, but we wont be coming back.

This Hillside boutique Hotel is my favorite place to stay when I go to San Antonio to visit my daughter. The rooms are beautiful and the property is amazing.. it would be a great place to relax, unfortunately I didn’t get to spend as much time there as I would have liked, but I would definitely recommend this hotel.!

Older property with nice furnishings. Needs a good deep cleaning and cosmetic upgrades! Floors very dirty. Needs paint!
