SpringHill Suites by Marriott Provo

Fantastic, large studio-room, impeccably cleaned and arranged, while providing everything you may need (hairdryer, fridge, microwave, body-wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion; coffee maker, desk, pad & pen etc etc) The restroom being separate from the bathroom is great. Very quiet, with excellent amenities (pool, fitness room) Full hot breakfast in the morning. On that note: please upgrade the cheap styrofoam bowls to real dishes and proper silverware. That’s the one thing that surprised us quite a bit and that certainly does not fit how upscale the hotel otherwise is.

Location is great, not far from downtown Provo. There are a couple of restaurants in the area. Rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Pool area is great and breakfast had a decent selection.

You can hear noise through the door so if people are talking loudly, it's audible. However, we didn't hear anything through the walls. We wish there was a hot tub.

Check in process was fast and staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious, beds comfortable. Easy parking and Close to airport

On the good news front, outside the front door and across the street is Shirley's bakery https://shirleysbakerycafe.com/ Which has pastries, soup, sandwiches and salads... TO GO until 7pm. So since we wanted to eat lite, that was very convenient. Modern and clean facility. Nice bed reading lights and work desk.

1. The TV had 4 vertical black lines on the screen, no matter the channel. They offered to change rooms, but that's a pain. 2. The floor lamp adjacent to the front door would not go on. The bedside lamp on the table between the beds would not go on. It took a while, but looking under the shades I found a button on the stem - not where lights normally have stalks to twist/push. So we figured that out. 4. The wifi had no password, which raises security concerns - a password network is pretty standard. 5. The swiveling desk chair wobbled and tilted - would not sit level. 6. The doors are very heavy, giving my wife an arm bruise on the front door, and then hit me in the ear when I bent over to pick up something just outside the door. That's a first for me. 7.The toilet door slides, and often slides open... which doesn't matter to a married couple, but the lock/latch plate on the door was removed and never replaced - that's why. 8. It took forever to get hot shower at 11pm. Eventually got to "mildly heated". The shower had 2 sets of controls: the old disabled ones they didn't remove and a newer set just above the tub. Turn the handle to start the water and THEN move the lever atop the knob all the way to the left (counter-clockwise) to get hot started. Then wait. Each of those problems isn't major by itself but gives one the sense, along with the above items, that property maintenance is a weakness.

Very professional looking, nice, comfortable, elegant rooms, high standard, good breakfast, very nice guys at the reception desk - above expectations :)

Beautiful room! They have a very different design to the room which we liked a lot. The sofa had an ottoman with a large tray on it that we used to eat breakfast, or it can be removed for a place to put your feet. Pet friendly and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was mostly standard fair but they had a good English muffin with egg and cheese sandwich, and waffles.

We had some issues with some guests in a room down the hall with several kids who were using the hallway as a playground, bouncing off the walls, etc. It took a call to the front desk to get that straightened out, but it was straightened out and after a short while, the noise stopped.
