Savoy Hotel Kimberley

I like the location as it is conveniently placed. The staff is very very very friendly. I always arrive in Kimberley on very awkward hours but they always allow me to check in early. For me that is the biggest bonus of them all . Apart from many things that still needs huge improvements such as brown water issues, air conditioners not working in most rooms and wifi not stable, I would still come back because of early early check in. I am not sure if I should strongly recommend to a friend but I will suggest that they go and see and make a decision based on what they think of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and supportive I repeat.

The room looks very old, no clean water running in the taps

no water no tv channels no wifi

-Water from taps was dirty -There were times where there was no water at all and the hotel failed to provide I had to go out to buy water to bath for me and my team. Later that evening when i asked the African lady(I forgot her name but she is not from RSA) she said the Hotel can't do anything, only when I started complaining she then arranged for water - No fridges in the room - No phones in the rooms_ I asked the same lady she said I must use my cellphone to contact reception -Only 4 TV channels

The breakfast part nd the place was safe and quiet
