The buffet breakfast and friendly staff. The cleanliness of the rooms.

I booked a family room to accommodate 4 guests online. When I got to the hotel, the staff told me what I booked accommodated only 3 guests. (Double bed + 2 single beds) I was happy with this room. I was made to pay for a bigger room which would accommodate 4 people. Without a hassle, I paid as requested. We were escorted to the same room which was said to accommodate only 3 people, to our surprise. The day staff knocked off, we went out to get some supper....upon returning, we lodged a complaint as to why we were given the exact same room yet paid double. In that room, there was only 1 TV in the bedroom and 1 bathroom which was ensuite. I found it impossible to share that room with a couple and use the same bathroom. We were eventually, satisfied because the nightstaff checked the system and realised the mistake and gave us another room.

The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

The rooms could do with some renovations; the sheets had holes; that's how old they were; mismatched; old towels... Invest in bedding.

Imagine bathing with ice cold water in the hotel. No warm water Aircon not working it was blowing cold air There were old long black hair on the blankets Issue of cold water in the shower was reported to the receptionist she said she is aware but nothing she can do. Breakfast no butter or jam just dry bread with super seven juice embarrassing one I had to drive from Kimberly to Johannesburg without taking a bath because water was extremely cold in both shower and bath, I had to make drive-through breakfast because their breakfast was not looking well. Well on the confirmation it state that checking out is between 10h00 and 11h00 by 10h15 someone was already knocking on the door instructing us to leave the premises until I assure her the confirmation time that shows checking out time. I actually felt like I was in the B&B. I don't like complaining but this one I'm forced by the situation the way it was thanks.
