Heritage Inn

This place has a mom & pop hotel feel. We liked that. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. I recommend getting rid of the pathetic breakfast & lowering your price per night. Thawed toaster waffles, cold cereal, toast, milk, OJ, and coffee.

Maybe a little too much "eco-friendly". Could have used a plastic bag for laundry. More & better pressure at the faucets. A pad & pen to make notes. A listing of "nearby" facilities, restaurants etc.. Staff was friendly, & accommodating. Overall, - great. Thank you.

They do not follow the law and they deny service dogs! They tried telling me my health condition and service dog “weren’t real”. They said if I had seizures and pass out they could accommodate but my heart condition and passing out doesn’t qualify. How does that make any sense? The symptoms are the same! They completely disregarded my health issues. On top of that, I reserved my room for 5 people, there was some mess up on their end that only showed two people and they refused to accommodate the people even though when I booked it I marked the number of people. I strongly recommend taking your business else where. We decided it was worth paying more to stay in another hotel because I refuse to give me business or money to such a disrespectful business.

The hotel was clean and quiet. My only complaint was Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent and there was no breakfast.

Everything went smoothly from the check-in to the check-out. Very friendly staff.

E-Z on/off of IH-35. Convenient to several restaurants and fast food places. The "breakfast" consists of cereal or prepackaged cake doughnuts and weak coffee. Luckily, the low cost of the room offsets the cost of going out to a restaurant for it. The bed was firm and comfortable, but the pillows were too firm and I found myself turning them several times trying to soften them up. No luck with any of the 3 supplied. I did not sleep well. The staff were helpful when asked questions and smiled. This was nice. FYI - I requested an accessable room and I got one that was wheelchair easy. However, it had the standard tub/shower unit and was not a walk-in or roll-in. Not very accessable for bathing/showering.
