The stay was comfortable and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Room was spacious and large bed/pillows comfortable. Shower was amazing. Not everything was great however, the bath mat had mould on it and bizarrely there was body lotion in the shower and no shower gel. The organisation at breakfast needs to be thought about. Teacups and saucers are on the breakfast table which you have to take with you into another room to get your drink from a machine, it would be far more sensible to have cups/mugs next to the machine. If you have them on the table then hot drinks should be served to you. Great to have tea and coffee facilities in the room, however a bottle of water would really have been appreciated.

The hotel is very quiet, if thats what you are seeking, you'll be in luck. It has a good location just of the M40 junction, but you would never know it, very handy for the villages and towns within a reasonable distance We knew the hotel well beforehand and have stayed in the past, it's fine, more of a 'wedding type' venue with little to no vibe, but thats fine, lots of parking and EV chargers, good access to Thame, Stockenchurch, Chinnor and Watlington.

We had a room with a view to the Chilterns. Make sure you ask for this when booking, as the alternative is a room with a view to the car park. This is our second time in this hotel, and staff are very attentive.
