Hotel Kallisto

I must tell you i traveled allover the world and i never met such Nice Owners and Stuff So caring and professional they make you feel like you at home! Add to that the breathtaking views of the caldera volcano and fira from this beautiful property seating at a high point in great location. The breakfast is great just like at home! If i had to improve anything it will be the bathrooms they kind of tiny! Definitely will come back and recommend to others .

Views Views Views... the outdoor area is amazing for lounging and sunning and the pool keeps you cool in the summers. The room was stayed in was the junior maisonette with 2 levels. The bathroom size was OK for us but I'm sure some people over 200 pounds would feel it is way too small. The stairs up to the bed in the attic is fun, but again, not for those looking for average western sizes. I found no issue with climbing steep stairs to get to my room, but others might. The service was great. Mario (at the bar) and Mariza (at the front desk) were excellent. The breakfast was good (eggs, bacon, greek yogurt, fruits, bread, coffee, juice). It was not a buffet but I was filled up by the portions given. Marble everywhere, so watch your step with water. The only problem we had was the bar menu. There was no menu and we were ordering drinks that we thought were 8-10 euros. We ended up with ~150 euro bar tab after 3 days upon check out that we couldn't pay with credit card. Big let down as we burned through our cash pile. We did consume about 12 drinks, so it is on par with the area I suppose in terms of cost. Other than that, I'd recommend the place especially at the value considering the area. You can get bigger rooms in the 8 unit complex if space is an issue for you.

This place is a gem. Great location, away enough from hustle and bustle to relax and close enough to walk to many places. The breakfast is excellent and they willingly customize to your need if possible. The staff is super friendly and caring. They do everything to make your stay pleasant and always do it with a great smile and without any hesitation. I would go back and stay at Kallisto any time.

Pro: the view is the best in the entire region as the hotel is on the highest point, the caldera view is SPECTACULAR , and the homemade breakfast set was very good and made fresh. The service was great and everyone was attentive and friendly. Cons : We had problems with the showers the water is very small and is only lukewarm when turned to the highest heat , worst yet it turns cold after 7min. We had a change of rooms, which was better but the water is still very weak pressured and take note : IT’S SALTY. So I had to rinse my mouth with mineral water. Apparently the whole island is like that ? But i tasted the tap water at Oia and Akritori and it wasn’t salty... so... I don’t know...

Hotel situated in an excellent location, near fira (5 minutes drive not even) and near oia. View is specatacular, food is delicious and what to say about the staff. Perfect service and everything was clean in the room and the hotel.

Staff were excellent and very helpful to arrange transfers / taxis. Don't hesitate to ask them for anything , even before you arrive as transportation can be a bit tricky on the island and the hotel team took care of everything . The pool and gym and facilities including breakfast and the terrace view were first class .

This property was absolutely amazing (the common areas, the pool, the staff, the service, etc). My husband and I booked this site last minute due to issues with another reservation, and we were more than pleased. I truly believe this hotel was much nicer than where we originally planned to stay. It is located in Imerovigli, which is a quieter part of the island (when compared to Fira and Oia), but still walking distance to many amazing restaurants. Our room was located right behind the pool, making our stay more private, since all of the guest rooms were more spread out. The staff was wonderful and very welcoming. They were more than willing to assist with anything we needed. Also, I want to point out that the breakfast provided was outstanding - PLENTY of food for my husband and I, and it was delicious.

Stunning location, staff very helpful and kind .they need to work on the breakfast not enough for a 4 stars property. definitely recommended !
